IMU Interview

Assalamualaikum..
Owww, it had been ages I didn't update this blog..*sigh*
Well,regarding my tittle.. i just wanna write about it because it was my FIRST time to have such an official interview which is really important..in determining my DESTINY! walaweyhhh..
16 October 2012.. yeah, that is the date..

Place: INTEC, ALM Square
Room: 117
Candidate number: 3 (right after two brilliant guys, Rizqin Syahmi and Sajid Nabiel)
Interviewer: I don't know their names but there are two of them, one Sikh male doctor and one Chinese female pharmacist

At first, I just take this interview for granted because I didn't know what to do.. thinking of doing the same thing like JPA interview.. BUT, after having interview briefing and also some advice from my friends, I really thought that this interview is totally IMPORTANT and complicated..
I need to wear something really smart and formal.. well, it's really NOT ME! I need to spend some time buying high heels and blazer.. for the sake of interview, I bought all!!!

On that day, just 26 of us the fast trackers who would be having the interview.. well, it's really obvious for everyone to know that we're going to be interviewed, judging from our attire and also file of certs!
I was really nervous since the night before.. luckily my housemates were REALLY CARING + KIND to help me prepare myself up with my practice, attire and also giving me spirit.. It was really touched to see everyone cared for each other.. I could see the unity among ALM students when everyone did support their friends.. ahhhh so shweeeeet!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, after being called by the interviewer, I went into the room 117..
His first question was.. " Are u nervous?" I just smiled and said " yeah, quite nervous!"
Then the interview started.. Some general questions like:
1. Where do u come from? (He was really excited talking about Nilai 3.. :) )
2. Tell about yourself (I was kind of blur, didn't know what else to say as he had mentioned my point! )
3. My hobbies ( He laughed when I said I loved to watch Doraemon.. lol.. even the Chinese woman laughed at me while kept on nodding her head..)
4. Qualities of you
5. Specialist
6. Questions regarding our certs.. ( chess competition, co-curricular activity, etc.)
7. Case study! ( a section that everyone afraid of! )
    I got question just like the one in the list from seniors.. about ship wreck and who are the 7 that u would choose to be in the lifeboat.. seriously I didn't understand the question as the the question was reallyyyyy long! I asked him to clarify and he gave me a new situation.. lol, he laughed when i told that i wanna throw out the old people.. well, as expected he did question my choice but I managed to stick to my stand until the end! YEAY!

Lastly, he opened for any question from me.. I really wanna ask whether I could pass this interview but I was afraid to know the truth so I just asked him " Do you think I should improve anything about myself to be a better doctor?" He said, " Nothing.. You are quite good..bla bla bla " ( Is it a good sign??? )
From this interview, i really enjoyed the communication I had with my interviewers.. They are all nice and friendly! not as scary as I thought..

Alhamdulillah, it was over.. I felt extremely relief until I almost forgot that my trial is just around the corner! anyway, I can't predict the result as IMU is really unpredictable in selecting their students.. Hopefully, 26 of us would manage to enter IMU, amin! Bismillahitawakkaltualallah..
